"I was down, i thought we were more than this. How can best friends like us become strangers?"
"Cynicism kicked in, i guess, and perhaps we have left it longer than we should have."
"We don't know each other anymore, what do you think?"
"I think yes we don't, but we can have another go at it."
"Yes, why the hell not?"

Am happy we talked it out.
ILY, still, you know.

How to Sleep Less.

-Do not eat before going to bed (at least 2 hours before sleep time).
-Sleep in dark, quiet room.
-Try using a sleep optimization program. These work wonders for some people.
-Sleep with fresh air (open windows or get air refresher).
-Exercise during the day. If you don’t exercise, go for a 15 minutes walk before the sleep time.
-Do not watch TV in the bed before going to sleep. Read a book, take a bath, do something relaxing.
-Don’t drink coffee or other stimulants within 6 hours of bed time.
-Don’t take long naps (more than 30 mins) during the day.
-Follow these simple tips and within one or two weeks you will notice

Haley: The rest of your life is a long time and whether you know it or not it's being shaped right now. You can choose to blame your circumstances on fate or bad luck or bad choices or you can fight back. Things aren't always going to be fair in the real world, that's just the way it is but for the most part you get what you give. Let me ask you all a question. What's worse: not getting everything you wished for or getting it but finding out it's not enough? The rest of your life is being shaped right now with the dreams you chase, the choices you make and the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time and the rest of your life starts right now

Can you find what you are looking for at the end of the race?

First Women's Day was in 1911

-Women use 20,000 words a day while men only use 7,000
-530,000 women die in pregnancy or childbirth each year
-Women own around only 1% of the world's land
-Women control $14 trillion in assets and this should grow to $22 trillion over next 10 years
-Only in Japan and Peru are women more active in starting a business than men
-Women spend more time researching before they invest than men do
-Women do two-thirds of the world's work but receive only 10% of the world's income
-56% of women who voted supported Obama compared to only 49% of men voted for Obama
-Until 20 years ago there had never been more than 5% women MPs globally
-Benazir Bhutto was the first woman prime minister of a muslim country (assassinated 27/12/07)
It is not the number of people you know or mix with. It is not about how you are known by many and it is not even about being pretty or fabulous or looking attractive all the time. It's about being a great friend and being there for those in need no matter how short a time you have known that person or how new the friendship is.

Do not take things for granted.
More importantly, do not take friends
for granted.

Is it ever enough?

Yesterday.
*pm

Smoky Jack
5 rounds 'round Bkt Dumbar
Coffee Bean; coffee session.
Car Ride
Conversations.

"84% of highschool sweethearts get back together eventually."

"Are you in the 84 or 16 category?"
"...I guess 16..."
"I know mine's definitely 16"

People never know how special someone is until they leave, but maybe sometimes its important to leave, so they are given the chance to see how special that someone really is.

He who does not weep does not see

Samantha: [Voice over] Did you ever wonder what it would be like if you weren't you anymore?
If you were suddenly gone, how would your world react?
Whatever you imagined is wrong.
There's nothing romantic about death.
Grief is like the Ocean. It's deep and dark and bigger than all of us.
And pain is like a thief in the night.
Quiet. Persistent. Unfair. Diminished by time and faith and love.
I didn’t know Quentin Fields but I’m jealous of him because I see how his absence has affected the people that did know him so I know that he did matter to them. And I know he was loved.
People say Quentin Fields was a great basketball player.
Graceful. Fluid. Inspiring.
They say on a good night it almost seemed as though he could fly.
And now he can.

Lucas : Have you ever wondered what marks our time here?
If one life can really make an impact on the world...or if the choices we make matter?
I believe they do.
And I believe that one man can change many lives.
For better...or worse.

Essentially & obviously, about
ONE TREE HILL.

Back to basics.
Starting from scratch.

I love. :)
A new edition onto my rack.
The old one is still much loved.
Pink to blue - my perennial love.
